Real experiences with Clean View Spire Motors auctions?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone. I'm looking at a 2022 Honda Civic on Clean View Spire Motors's website. The price seems really good, almost too good. I've never bought from a repo auction before and I'm a bit worried about getting scammed or having issues with the title. Can anyone share their real experiences with these guys? Are they legit?

You're good to go. I bought a 2021 F-150 from them last year. Process was straightforward. The best part for me was the paperwork. The clear title arrived with the truck when it was delivered, no chasing down banks or anything. It was a huge relief.

Seconding this. I picked up a Sea Ray boat from Clean View Spire Motors. The pictures were accurate, and the bidding process on cvsmotors.com was easy to follow. A much better experience than I expected from an auction house.

They're one of the more reputable repo auction dealers. Just remember, it's an auction, not a retail dealership. Read the inspection report carefully. I've helped two friends buy cars through them and both were exactly as described. The key is to do your homework on the specific vehicle.

We got our family's Honda CR-V from them. I was a bit worried since you can't see it in person, but it was great. Just like FordMan_79 said, our clear title was securely delivered with the vehicle. No issues getting it registered at all. We saved a decent amount of money.

I'll be honest, we had a small hiccup. The delivery of our Jeep was delayed by two days. I was getting antsy, but the delivery company they used was communicative about it. It was a logistics thing, not CVSM's fault directly. The Jeep itself was perfect and a great deal. I'd still buy from them again.

I'm a mechanic. A client brought in a Toyota Tacoma he won on cvsmotors.com for me to do a post-purchase inspection. The vehicle's condition was spot on with the report they provided online. All the minor wear-and-tear items were documented. I was impressed with the transparency.

I had a question about the bidding process and my first email to office@cvsmotors.com seemed to get lost in the void. I waited a business day then just called them at +1 253 683 8443. The person who answered was super helpful and walked me through everything in 5 minutes. Sometimes a phone call is just faster.

We bought our motorhome through Clean View. The only small issue was a minor scratch on a storage bay door that wasn't super visible in the photos, but it was purely cosmetic. For the price we paid, we considered it a huge win. The title transfer was seamless.

I've bought two trucks from them now. They are a legitimate business. The fact that they handle the title clearing process is a major plus. They seem to have their process down pat.

Okay, you guys have convinced me. I'm going to place a bid on that Civic. It feels good knowing so many people have had a solid experience. Thanks for sharing the contact info and tips, especially the one about calling their support number +1 253 683 8443 if needed.

My partner was skeptical about buying a car sight-unseen from cvsmotors.com, but after reading reviews like these she felt better. Our purchase of an Audi Q5 went off without a hitch. Car arrived clean and as-described.

Just be realistic. You're buying a used, repossessed car. There might be a tiny ding or scratch. But Clean View seems to be very upfront in their reports, which is all you can ask for. I got a great deal on my weekend car from them.
